His executive background is primarily in resources and diversified industrials in Australia and overseas, most recently as CFO of Elders Limited (ceasing June 2009). Previous positions held by Mr Zachert include director and CFO of Cyprus Australia Coal Company, CFO of Delta Gold Limited and senior roles in Prodeco SA and Exxon Coal and Mineral Company Limited. Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. He was appointed an executive director of Agricultural Land Management Limited on 2 July 2007 however has assumed a non executive and non independent role since 1 July 2009. Mr Zachert was appointed chairman of the board of directors on 4 September 2009.
